Take Steps is a part of St. Louis' IBD community that not only provides support to patients and families, but who together, are actively raising money and awareness to help the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation fund research into innovative treatments for those who suffer from IBD. Take Steps is the largest Foundation event, contributing more than $114 million toward the Foundation’s mission since 2008 and locally donating over $10 million for research, support services and education. On June 8, 2024, over 350 people will walk Creve Coeur Park to raise money to improve the quality of life for people living with IBD. They will form corporate and individual teams and walk through interactive, educational stations on their way to “Mt. Remission”. We will have inspirational speakers, sponsor booths, music, and fun activities for the whole family. We bring together the medical community, patients, family, friends, and caregivers from all over St. Louis and beyond for a common cause, to find treatments and the eventual cure of Crohn’s and Colitis. |
