The West County EMS & Fire Protection District, Soldiers’ Angels and the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center (MVRBC) are hosting a Valentines’ Weekend Blood Drive themed “Give Love, Give BLOOD - Giving blood in honor of those that have shed their blood for America.”
This Blood Drive is an opportunity to demonstrate a commitment to our nation’s heroes through our community. Blood Drive donations will benefit local SSM Hospitals and the Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center!
Bring a Buddy! Come Meet & Greet local Soldiers' Angels and our local first responders. Learn about ADOPTing a Soldier, SUPPORTing our wounded, local VOLUNTEER opportunities with Soldiers' Angels and more! Kids and Adults can send messages to our deployed troops at the event! Several gigantic greeting cards for donors to sign will be available. Some of our soldiers, both at home and abroad, have received blood from the MVRBC.

What: A regional blood drive. No appointment necessary but available by calling 314-413-2150.
When: Saturday, February 13, 2010 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Soldiers' Angels is a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing aid and comfort to the men and women of the United States Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, and their families. Founded by the mother of two American soldiers, we are an international, volunteer-led organization supporting America's men and women in uniform. With over 30 different teams and projects, our nearly 200,000 volunteers assist veterans, wounded and deployed personnel and their families in a variety of unique and effective ways.
The Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center is an independent, not-for-profit organization that plays an integral role in the health of the community. Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center is the exclusive provider of blood products and services to the SSM Healthcare System. Please help us promote this event!
