Join Beggin’ for one of the largest pet parades in the world! As the Guinness World Records™ holder for “Most Dogs in Costumed Attire,” the Beggin’ Pet Parade is one rockin’ good time featuring thousands of dressed up pets and plenty of highlights:
• Coronation Ceremony for the best pet costumes with ALL NEW PRIZES FOR 2015:
o $2,500 for Best Male Costume
o $2,500 for Best Female Costume
o $1,000 or a St. Louis Cardinals ticket package that includes a pair of tickets in the Outfield Field Box for a minimum of 10 home games valued at $1,500 for one winner in each of the following categories – Mardi Gras, Celebrity Look Alike and Sports Personality
• Costume parade through the streets of the famous Soulard neighborhood
• Wiener Dog Derby
• Beggin’ sampling for pets
• Unique bacon sampling for people
• Family- and pet-friendly activities:
o Beggin’-ized games
o Bacon-tastic photo booth
A required registration fee of $10 for each pet participating in the parade benefits the Open Door Animal Sanctuary. All other activities are free to parade spectators.
