Event Description: |
Learn more about the life and work of Ruth Asawa through a conversation with curator Helen Molesworth, writer Aruna D’Souza, and Pulitzer Curator Tamara H. Schenkenberg. This event also marks the release of the newly published exhibition catalogue, containing original essays by each of the panelists. Ruth Asawa: Life’s Work will be available for purchase at the event and online at pulitzerarts.org.

Helen Molesworth is an independent curator of contemporary art and the author of numerous essays, as well as a forthcoming book of essays about what art does. Aruna D’Souza is a writer focused on modern and contemporary art, intersectional feminisms, politics, and how museums shape our views of each other and the world. Tamara H. Schenkenberg is the curator at the Pulitzer Arts Foundation and organizer of Ruth Asawa: Life’s Work, on view through February 16. |
