| Event Description: |
The Veterans Day 5K Run/Walk to benefit St. Patrick Center on Saturday, November 7, 2020 includes a Timed 5K, One-Mile Run/Walk, FREE Kids’ Dash and many fun-filled activities. This is a family-friendly event to honor our nation’s heroes and raise awareness and resources to end veteran homelessness in St. Louis. Last year, St. Patrick Center helped more than 800 veterans (24% of our client population) and their families who were experiencing homelessness through stable housing, job training and placement, mental and substance use counseling and much more.
Length: Timed 5K run/walk and one-mile fun-run
Cost: $35 (free kids’ dash), $40 beginning on November 1. If you can’t make it in person but still want to participate, choose the virtual participant option for $40 and we will mail your packet.
Veterans and active military receive a $10 discount.
*All paid participants receive a free moisture-wicking long-sleeve shirt.
9:00am– 5K
9:05am – One-mile route
10:00am– Kids’ dash
10:15am– 5K awards (age groups from 19 and below to 70+)
